Scope: It covers the entire spectrum of researches in the area of social sciences, viz. Psychology,
Sociology, Geography, History, Law, Education, Defence and Strategic Studies, Human Resources, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Commerce & Home Science
Call for Papers: Research papers are invited for original empirical, theoretical and application
based research related to Social Sciences The manuscripts should be in MS Word in English typed on A4 size, paper, double spaced on only one side with wide margin in Times New Roman 12 font size.
Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the international standard of the concerned discipline. See Guidelines

Instructions to Authors
Authors are requested to follow the instructions as given here and submit their papers accordingly. The paper submitted by the authors for publication in this journal should not be submitted simultaneously to any other journal and a declaration about it must be attached with the Manuscript. The papers not prepared as per the guidelines will not be entertained for consideration in IJHR. Only soft copy of the paper on A4 paper in 1.5 space in MS Word (New Times Roman12 font size) written in English language should be sent to the email of the journal. The word limit for the papers is 3000; including references and it must be strictly followed.

IJHR is a double blind peer reviewed (refereed) journal. The papers submitted for this journal are reviewed by peer reviewers. They review the paper on the dimensions such as originality of the work, methodology, language efficiency, relevance of the paper, format of the paper, suitability of the paper for publication in IJHR, plagiarism etc. Their opinion is the final basis for accepting the paper.
Major Components of the Paper
Title: Title of the paper should be brief but clear in communication, without prefix “Study of …….”
Author’s detail: Name of the author/s, institutional address, E-mail and contact number must be given in the paper.
Abstract: The abstract of the paper is must and it should not exceed the limit of 250 words
Introduction: The basic concepts of the study should briefly be mentioned along with Review of the relevant studies. The Rationale of the study undertaken by the authors must be given to show its relevance.
Objectives: Explain the purpose of the study in few words.
Hypothesis: If the hypotheses are formed, it must be mentioned in this section. In empirical studies, it is one of the most important components of research.
Method: This component should cover the procedure of study (such as Design, Sample and Techniques, brief description of tools used in the study or other aspects depending on the nature of the subject of the scholar).
Procedure: Explain the procedure of data/material collection for the study. The authors from the fields of social sciences other than Psychology should follow the method of research in their own disciplines, but try to be scientific in their approach.
Results: Please describe the major findings of your study. Tables and figures should be limited in numbers. Mention whether the hypothesis raised in the study is accepted or rejected on the basis of the results obtained in the study.
Discussion: Discuss your findings or observation in depth quoting the studies being supported or contradicted by the results of your own study. Please don’t the repeat the contents of the Results in the Discussion portion, i.e., repetition must be avoided? In some cases, Results and Discussion portions may be combined, if the situation requires so, as it is in practice in other disciplines of social sciences.
Conclusion: Give a very brief summary of your study in about 50 words to make the findings easily graspable for the readers.
Implications: What are the implications of the study done you? Mention it in few words.
Limitations & Suggestions: Mention the limitations/shortcoming of your study in few words and give some useful suggestions for future researches in the concerned area. It will attract other researchers to work in the area covered in your study.
References: References should be listed in alphabetical order. Please ensure hundred percent correspondence between references given in the text and listed at the end of the paper. The numbering of references should be avoided.
